Love Is the Greatest
"Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love." That's what it says at the end of 1 Corinthians 13, "the love chapter" of the NLT Bible—and we think it's a truth to hold on to, so we made this artwork to remind us to be patient, kind, and loving—to hold each other in high esteem, and to actively love one another every day.

The Original Art was made using several techniques, including hand-cut decoupage lettering, acrylic painting, and an engraving for the scripture. Several layers of paint and medium were built up to add texture and depth to the panel.

A Reclaimed Soundboard from an antique piano was our canvas for this one-of-a-kind painting. Soundboards have a beautifully distinct design, and they served a unique purpose when the instrument was still intact. Its job was to amplify the sound of the strings, making the music louder so it could be heard by more people at greater distances. Now it's been repurposed to share this message of love.
